Nature is given a lot of attention because Vastu Shastra is linked to various energies such as solar, cosmic, lunar, thermal, magnetic, light, and wind energy. Vastu is concerned with the placement and construction of a specific object or structure in accordance with the directions, designs, and magnitude.

Vastu is essential in providing an optimistic vibe and energy throughout the house, including the living room, kitchen, bathroom, pooja room, garden, residential plots, tanks, borewell, basement, locker room, and many other areas.

It gets more specific when it comes to the staircase, balcony, swimming pool, curtains, interiors, and so on. As a result, residential Vastu is critical, as it can assist in gaining a variety of benefits for those who live in the house. Vastu Shastra, also known as the "science of architecture," has been used in India for centuries to prepare a construction site, design, and decide on spatial arrangement.

ENTRANCE TO THE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

As we all know that the sun rises in the east and is an unrivalled source of energy and light, your home's entrance should face east. If your entrance is already built-in another direction, you can address this issue by adding a large window facing east

THE SHAPE OF THE ROOMS AS PER VASTU FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

In a residential building, all rooms must be rectangular or square. You should avoid purchasing a residential house or flat with irregularly shaped rooms, such as I-shaped rooms. In the case of a rectangular residential home, the length should ideally not be more than twice the width of the house.

The best shape for a room per Vastu for residential buildings is square because it promotes harmony and balance. Rectangular rooms are also auspicious, but L-shaped or T-shaped rooms are not. Rooms with irregular shapes can bring a lot of worries and even poverty. Octagonal rooms can damage your finances, whereas triangular rooms can hamper your progress.

The southwest corner of a residential building is the most auspicious for restful sleep. As a result, place the bed in the south, east, or west corner, but never in the north. Choose browns and greens to make your bedroom feel alive and earthy.

KITCHEN VASTU FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

In your kitchen, you should never keep fire and water next to each other. Bathrooms or toilets should never be built above or below the kitchen.

Ideally, your kitchen should be in the south-east corner, and you should cook with your back to the east. Avoid placing your kitchen in front of the main entrance as well.

RIGHT PLANTS AS PER VASTU FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

Indoor greenery adds a sense of freshness and vibrancy to a home's interiors. However, if the seeds are planted during the construction phase, select seeds that do not produce milk. Instead, choose peace lilies, money plants, or bamboos to keep the peace in your home.

According to Vastu rules, Cactus and thorny plants should never be planted in residential buildings. The rose plant is an exception, which you can always grow in your home. Tulsi (basil) is the best plant to include in your home, ideally in front of your door. You can also plant money plants and a wide range of flowering plants to boost positivity and attract a lot of positive energy.

DOORS AND WINDOWS OF THE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

Dirty windows and doors can hamper the flow of wealth into your home. So keep them clean. According to Vastu, all doors, especially the entrance door, should open at 90 degrees for residential buildings. This allows positive energy to enter your home quickly and generously. Avoid putting anything behind the doors to avoid creating an obstruction.

A broken or cracked mirror should never be kept in your home. You should also make sure that no windows or doors are creaking and that there are no leaking taps anywhere in your home. Keep the windows and doors clean at all times.
